Exercise. The key to wellbeing?
Exercise. The key to wellbeing?

I have always believed that a healthy diet and regular exercise does amazing things not just for your body but for your well being and mind as well.

The important thing to remember is that you need to create an exercise program that fits into your current life style and schedules. In order to sustain your program in the early days you need to be able to achieve the goals that you set and then move on to bigger goals.

A friend of mine on hub pages used to run marathons over 20 years ago. He would tell you the same if he wanted to run those same marathons now, he would set about it taking a bite at a time. For example in the first few weeks there might be some gentle jogging to build up stamina and general fitness and gradually increase the time on the road step by step. I advise you to do the same whatever your goal is. Let’s say you haven’t even been jogging for over 20 years, you would start of walking, then walking a little faster, then during your walking combine with a short period of jogging and build gradually.

What I also find very powerful during exercise is practicing what all great sportsmen and sportswomen use every day to improve their performances visualization and verbal repetition of a current business or personal goal.

For example I have decided today to take part in the 30 hubs in 30 days program here on hubpages as a little experiment. So every evening when I am out jogging I visualize completing my goal and combine it with a little chanting “Every day for 30 days I create a hubpage, Every day for 30 days I create a hubpage” I chant in time with my jogging and the amazing thing is that because I have been so focused on my chanting and visualization that my jogging seams just to fly by. Talk about killing 2 birds with one stone.

So for my next 4 hubpages I have decided to create hubs all about exercise covering some of the following

So good luck with your exercise program and don’t forget to let me know how you get on and no matter what you do in life remember to always “Enjoy the Journey” !
